The Wayback Machine

Recently i was introduced the Internet Archive Wayback Machine. On the archive you can view any websites previous designs of them. So if you wanted to look at ESPN from twenty years ago and see the headlines you can. Also the HTML code is visible. Here are a few examples of popular websites now and then.

ESPN

On the left is ESPN's home page on Aug 29, 2016 and to the right is the page from Aug 29 2005. As you can see graphic design has changed a little over there century. Now graphic designers are incorporating more and more pictures since the internet is getting increasingly faster. 

                                                                                         

 

Apple

The photos are both also from Aug. 29 present day or 2005. Apple's website from 2005 had very complicated code for its time. The trend stays the same about the pictures and internet speeds.

                                                   

Amazon

Today we know amazon as an online store that can ship almost anything to your front door in a matter of days. Amazon used to only sell books but now they specialize in everything.
