E9 End of Year Reflection

This freshman year I had the class E9 for my first hour. I came in to e-Comm a little skeptical if I would enjoy it. I was very happy with the way the classes were structures, a quarter in each class.

I started e-Comm in the Video part of the rotation. I enjoy music and movies, so video production was perfect for me. I learned how to use final cut pro and i realized how easy making videos can be. During the next quarter I was in graphic design. Graphic Design taught me valuable things such as color psychology, C.A.R.P, and other design elements. My mother runs numerous websites and now I can help and I can understand what her job is. Animation was the third and last rotation in my freshman year. Although animation was interesting it was not my most favorite. Before Animation I did not appreciate how much effort it took to make 3D models in Sketchup.
I learned piles of information in e-Comm, from Graphic Design to Animations. Learning elements of C.A.R.P and color psychology will be the most beneficial to me in the future. If I were ever to do any related classes later in school e9 will benefit me well. Before e-Comm I could not even copy and paste, after e-Comm I could make,  render videos and then upload the them to youtube. The only thing I would change about e-Comm is for the instructors to spend more time on teaching us keyboard shortcuts so we can work efficiently.

In a whole, e-Comm has been a very useful class. No matter what profession I will be, some leadership skills I learned in e-Comm will always benefit me. I am glad I took this class and now I have experienced a whole different side of computers.
