Joel Embiid is the latest trash-talking media sensation in the NBA. Embiid isn't all talk though he averages nearly the same numbers as starter's would; and yet Embiid is on limited minutes. Embiid is in the headlines nearly every day. A part about the 7 foot- 3 center that the media doesn't cover is his life back in Cameroon. In Cameroon he is even more adored. He remains humble. Embiid hands out 76ers hats and shirts to children in the streets.
The Author did very well in the article. Unlike other authors who turn to negative headlines; this author exposes Embiid in a different way. The author also did a great job with imagery in the opening paragraphs of the article. I felt like I was in the stadium. The figurative language in the last paragraph is very clever.
The author did not do many things bad. I really enjoyed the article.
This week I have been a leader in class. I arranged the interviews and asked the questions.I started negations for peace with Mr. Cooper over the deadline dispute and succeeded. I am pretty much a president now.
