Sports Package Review

Recently the popular ESPN film "30 for 30" series was about the Scab players of the 1987 NFL players strike. The players were protesting about the current free agent policies. The documentary does a great job at telling the story from the scab players perspective. The director does a great job at interviewing multiple sources. The way the story is told hits me right in the feels. The film crew followed the past scab players at their current job. It is almost like they are normal people. You would never know they played in the NFL.

The director did a great job, but he failed to use as many sources from the NFL managers and coaches as he did for the Scabbers. The documentary in the first part is told from the players point of view. Then later it is told from the scabbers point of view. So in the documentary we are almost missing a point of view.

From watching the documentary I will start including more views for the audience. I also can include more emotion in my videos because the director did a great job at displaying the people's emotions to the audience.
